It's a go for round ten

Well, I went in for blood-work this morning, and my platelets were at 87,000. I was actually surprised they were that high - I still feel like I have no energy and I am still taking several naps a day. So, by the time most of you read this, we'll be heading to the clinic for round ten on Friday morning.

I had a wonderful surprise visit on Monday. My friend Lisette from Seattle stopped by with her husband Will and son Zane in tow. Yeah for me :)!! It was so nice to sit and visit with her and catch up on what is going on in her life.

As a bonus, Jay was able to pick Will's brain. Will is an amazing professional photographer whose pictures are published in a variety of magazines. He was here shooting the Canoe Journey in Suquamish.

While playing around with their cameras, Jay and Will took some wonderful pictures. It was like having a photo studio in our home. Will had some of his gadgets with him and was able to teach Jay how they work. I told Will that I'll be sending him the bill when Jay starts buying all that fancy equipment!

Thank you Lisette, Will and Zane for taking time out of your busy day to visit me :). It meant a lot and it was so nice to see you. We need to do it again soon!!

  3. Hey Lady:
Awesome numbers and I am happy to hear that you were able to get the 10th treatment out of the way!
The three of you together as a team are so good together. Acey sounds like your "minder" and that doesn't surprise me a bit since he is such a sweetie pie!
Okay girl on to 11 and 12 and then you can give a huge sigh of relief and enjoy life even more (although that is hard to imagine!).
    Love Merd

Gidget - It was sure great to hear that your platelet count was as high as it was since you only took the one week delay. Hopefully the good rebound will continue for the last two treatments.

We will continue to pray that all goes well for the rest of the way.

Those are sure some good pictures. They look like professional photographer quality.

We love you - Ed and Joyce
