I thought I'd post a few pics from paradise. This was the view from our balcony first thing this morning:

We got to Maui around noon on Tuesday, made a quick stop at Costco to load up on supplies (and boogie boards), and checked into our condo on Kaanapali Beach.

We spent the first three days playing on the beach, mostly. Gidget kicked back on a beach chair while me and Acey rode our boogie boards hour, after hour, after hour. Even though I have slathered my melon with SPF 50 every morning, I'm fried, and I'm sure I'll peel like I always do. Acey got a little burned, but not nearly as bad as me. He cut his toe pretty bad on a coral reef the first day, but he hasn't let that slow him down.

I bought this really cool waterproof/shockproof HD video camera before we left. I'm still figuring out how to use it, but I should end up with some really cool footage. For now, I recorded some video using my still camera and posted a clip of Acey boogie boarding on YouTube:
We drove into Lahaina yesterday and poked around for a few hours. We did a little shopping, checked out the Banyan Tree Park, and had lunch at the Cool Cat Cafe. My friend Chris told me that the Don Ho burger at the Cool Cat is the best burger on earth, and he was right!

1)I love Hawaii and it has been too long since I've been there;
2) Mr. Acey has a lot grit (never giving up - I love it!);
3) I am so happy you three are enjoying a great vacation away together- you deserve it!
